I just wanted to make a quick post letting everyone know that we are in New Zealand now, and that we have successfully picked up our campervan (motorhome.) We arrived tuesday afternoon, and are now on our way north towards Hanmer Springs and the Hanmer Conservation department. We have changed our plans in order to cut down on the amount of driving, and thus we will not be making it to Queenstown and Milford Sound, as the 20+hrs to get there and back just isn't worth it on our short time frame.
I have plenty of pictures to post, but alas I am at an internet cafe on a public terminal, but as soon as I can get a reliable wifi connection for the ipad, I will be uploading some pics.
