Well we have been on the north island since Sunday afternoon, that is after an extremely turbulent ferry ride. I've taken many ferry rides before and this was probably the mOst turbulent, but we all survived, and I was very impressed by how little it seemed to affect our little girl. We will chalk Sunday up as day of travel, we started at 8:30 am and pulled Into a campsite around 7, so we didn't do much beyond travel.
Monday was a nice and relaxing day, some time on the beach, plenty of cards as it rained in the afternoon, and an evening starring at the stars in the southern hemisphere.
Today was more adventurest, as we work up early and hit the river for a couple of hours session of whitewater rafting. Blane and Kathy joined me getting tossed up and down rocks and getting splashed with nice and cold water. If I fnd a way to get
Picture off of the cd that we have from the rafting trip I'll get them up. The rest of the day was spent getting to tongariro national park. FOr you Lord of the ring lovers this is the home Of mount doom. I'm very tempted to take a tour of multiple lord of the ring locations tomorrow, just trying to justify the price to myself.
In other news our iPad seems to have died, so I'm not sure how I will get pictures up, unless I take them on my phone, I'll see what I can figure out. Well off to get Evelia ready for bed, and then ourselves as tomorrow will be another great day in new zealand
