Bev and Blane arrive in the land down under

Bev and Blane arrived to join the three of us on Friday. Due to all of the mix ups with flights they arrived the day after us, oh well we are all here now. Our morning and early afternoon was spend picking up Bev and blane, swapping hostel rooms (we are all in one larger room, well closer to two attached rooms really, with our own private little deck), and rearranging flights and travel plans in new Zealand due to the horrible earthquake that struck Christchurch.

So we are now catching a 7am flight on Tuesday morning to Christchurch, picking up our motor home and leaving town immediately. This gives us two more days in Sydney than originally planned so none of us rare really complaining.

Anyways here are a few shots from our first day exploring downtown Sydney, see if you can name any of the landmarks

The last couple of photos shows how much Evelia wants to help out in planning our journey. She really wants to help out from reading maps to pointing out train stops that we want.

  1. So glad that you were able to fly into Christchurch and get your motorhome. Very glad that you're safely out of there and having a good time. Missing the munchkin, oh and yes, the rest of you also, grin. Dad is doing much better than in the other homes and the staff are very caring.
