While most people wouldn't think of heading to the lake in November, it turned into being an amazing weekend as the area was blanketed by a nice soft layer of fresh snow (the first snow of the season that will stick until spring.) So while the kids were outside playing on the beach and rocks, I ventured out with my camera and my new lens.

After bugging the kids and trying to causing them to run and hide from the camera I set out on my own along the walking paths leading from the cottage. Its crazy, but over the years Adam and his family have constructed 4 different marked paths on their property. I stuck to the red and green paths for my 1.5km walk.
Lastly I managed to convince Kathy to join me for a second walk along the trails and snapped a few more pictures.
Thank you once again Adam and Kristine for letting us invade your cottage for a long weekend. We can't wait to come back out next summer!
