First daytime trip to the Zoo

Evelia and I spent a few hours visiting the Zoo this Saturday.  Its amazing all of the changes that are going on at the zoo, I soon won't be able to recognize it as the place that I visited growing up.

We managed to visit the new kids play area and ventured into "The jungle" as Evelia called it.  I didn't remember to bring a camera with me, but I did manage to take a few pictures with my phone.

Not sure what type of reptile these are, but Evelia assured me they were alligators

She was fascinated by the flamingos

Here are the little primates, they came right up to Evelia and they both spent a good 30 seconds checking each other out.

I think Evelia's favorite moments were spent exploring the "dark cave", seeing the small primates and watching the lions move about.
