A few weekends ago we brought Evelia to the Manitoba Museum for the first time. We didn't think to bring a camera, so the few pictures that I did take were using my phone. None the less I wanted to share what I took.
Our first stop was the Dinosaur exhibit. Evelia loved the dinosaurs and I'm pretty sure that they were real, due to their movements and sounds, yet she wasn't afraid of them. In fact she wanted to sneak under the chains and go pet the dinosaurs. We did manage to touch one of the smaller dinosaurs just to see what they were like.
Here is Evelia and Kathy digging for dinosaur bones.
After checking out the Dinosaurs we headed into the Museum. We spent close to 2 hours in the museum before we figured that it was time to head home for some milk and a nap. Trust me when I say that Evelia wasn't agreeing with this decision, she didn't want to leave.
Some of the highlights for Evelia include the Nonsuch Ship (probably spelt it wrong), the movie theater in the turn of the century town, and many of the animal exhibits.
Here are a few pictures of Evelia checking out the cariboo and moose.
Evelia learning about early settlers.
The red river settlement. The Red River cart seemed like a cool place to play.
